9. Dispute Resolution
9.1. Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations between you and ImportaPay.
9.2. If we fail to reach a resolution within 30 days of good-faith negotiations, the dispute shall be referred to mediation.
9.3. If mediation fails or there is a failure to agree on a mediator within another 14 days after the initial 14 days, the dispute shall be referred to the Lagos Multi-Door Court House (LMDC) for resolution. The proceedings shall be conducted in English Language and the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria shall apply. Online dispute resolution mechanisms may be adopted for the parties.
9.4. Where negotiation and mediation fails, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a single arbitrator to be appointed by the Director of LMDC, and the seat of the arbitration shall be Lagos, Nigeria. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, and the language of the proceedings shall be English.
